I am a software developer, my software company is a provider for the industry and the VP of successful condo hotels in Mexico and my answer is, that software does not know what the customer wants. Reservation closing rates sky rocket once you have a direct connection with the customer so that is the goal. When the customer requests a specific condo in our system and is not available we were very strategic in the wording for the no availability. Below is this very basic but very effective paragraph.
The type of condo you requested is not available for the dates you chose. Please provide your email address and a reservation specialist will review your request and contact you immediately. In most cases we upgrade the condo or property for the rate of the unavailable condo requested.
